Sustainable farming with family & friends since 1833

The Hastings-Wheeler family has worked the land at Indian Head Farm for seven generations. In the early years, we raised hops, asparagus and dairy cattle; today we raise fruit, vegetables flowers and hay. We utilize a number of current agricultural best practices, including Integrated Pest Management, soil fertility management and the efficient use and protection of ground water.

We invite you to come pick your own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and flowers; visit our farm stand and greenhouse; browse and relax around the farm and talk with our family and staff. We are happy to offer you this opportunity to know where your food comes from and how it is grown. Be sure to visit our website at for contact information and to find out about ripening crops, gatherings and events, and other topics related to food and farmin.
