J-Bob & Lefty- Live Music Upstairs at 19 Carter

7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Upbeat versions of swing-blues tunes from the 1930's and beyond, an occasional tango, and jazz ballads. Cool vocals & one-string boom-bass. Aged just right, like a choice whiskey or fine wine, the rich voice of J-Bob (Jason Eisenberg) is energetic and uplifting, even when singing the blues!  Den (Lefty) Poitras started off on the washtub bass when was 16 and has revolutionized this one-string Americana instrument from top to bottom. You won't believe your eyes and ears. Lefty also plays upon a unique hand-percussion kit.
